‘Sacking’ the General

some attitudes?
In this great nation of ours, with a glorious past, successors to a great heritage, some obsessions and attitudes are difficult to understand. Two human relationships must indeed be the most respected, valued and protected the world over; mother and sister(daughters don't seem to merit, for some reason the same rank ).
Apparently, everything that we wish to show respect has this appellation.Goddesses, country, holy animals are all matas and yet the most prevalent abuse, at least amongst the Hindi speaking (includes Hindustani, Urdu and those whose only claim to speaking /knowing the national language is their four-letter vocabulary) relates to utter and unimaginable degradation of this sacred, seminal bond.It does not appear so shocking when you realise that a mother is the most abused relationship anyway. Her lot is looking after and keeping a husband, a son "happy" at any cost, despite ill treatment, emotional blackmail and exploitation. She is expected to make all compromises, all sacrifices, always and forever.

Depression in bay of Bengal
There is no depression in the Bay of Bengal, but there is a depression in my heart.
Techie in Pune,Dabholkar,Pansare,Kulgarhi,Akhlaq in Dadri,90yr old dalit in Bilgaon-Hamirpur.
ISIS,Taliban at work in a different garb.Good normal Muslims depressed over the doings of the mad fanatical Muslims:Good, normal Hindus depressed over the doings of mad fanatical Hindus. Why all the regrets, penance, hurt, the lot of good normal human beings.
The question is not whether there is "a life after death"? It is:IS THERE A LIFE AFTER BIRTH.

Does not make sense to one way or the other.Talks, one understood, were at various levels. Each with well defined subject and jurisdiction.NIAs could only talk about terrorism, intelligence sharing to contain/curb terrorism. They do not have the authority to over step their area of activity. They could not possibilly, discuss and resolve the Kashmir problem.Hence it had no relevance at their level of talks.Where do Kashmiri separatists come into the picture, unless they were a party (perpeterators) to the terrorist activity. If so ,India was to take action against its citizen .If the idea w
Absurd reasoning.OROP will have 'cascading' effect...so has maintaining Armed Forces.Do away with them, disband them and try staying Soverign with out them.It is a very peaceful world and we have the most amiable neighbours indeed...Paramilitary forces will demand their pound of flesh!Understand that they are PARA military forces. Most bureaucrats think that it is forces equipped with parachutes. If they have ,as strong a case,(something discussed threadbare and conceded by even SC) give them..They have not even put up a case yet...some one on instigation suggested a ploy for for the govt.to try out...Railways will ask..Well,if they have a case as strong as the Armed Forces.a solution will have to found. Governance is not enlisting slaves and then driving them to annihilation.Every argument against OROP is advanced by either a highly prejudiced bureaucrat with acute inferiority complex and an abysmally low self esteem,or a moron, nay a country hater. What do they do any way, every even mildly challenging situation is promptly handed over to the Armed forces, from rescuing kids trapped in uncovered man holes to ,minor breaches of peace to riots to natural calamities and scoot. All opposition is by some demented minds, senior ministers not excluded..

A paradox....a democratically elected govt, that swears by the constitution, stifles the only section of Indian society that swears by and upholds the duty of defending the country even at the peril of their lives. The only lot that can claim to have fought all the war that Independent India has fought, are being treated like ordinary mischief makers, shoed away by agencies that do not care a damn about security,on the pretext of security. These veterans do not know nationalism, patriotism, as vociferously talked about by the pretending multitude on appointed days for vested interest. They do not market patriotism. They only know and are trained to do their duty;come what may.Simple, straightforward commitment to a noble cause...So that "achche din" that "others "promise may come..Alas ,only to see their" sab se bure din".Since Independence, the only "achche din" that they have seen are of their own making, at their expense, with expended lives.Days that the nation has celebrated with great pomp and show at 'great expense'; has no money for them.Shall they go around the world ,bowls in hand to bring FDI for their birth right,OROP.
WHAT A FALL MY COUNTRYMEN. JAI HIND(of INA vintage)
